Sadanand Shet Tanavade, the president of the Goa BJP unit, has been declared elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from the coastal state. The opposition parties, including Congress, AAP, Goa Forward Party, and Revolutionary Goans Party, did not field any candidate in the interest of Goa.
