The Supreme Court has stayed an order by the Gauhati High Court which had postponed the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) elections. The Federation is now allowed to go ahead with them as scheduled, having been postponed on 25 June following the state's plea. The high court had on Monday fixed July 28 as the next date for hearing the petition, filed by the Assam Wrestling Association.
