DC insider predicts Trump’s next indictment will have a lot more detail than we expect
MSNBC host and former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Monday that if the recent past is any indication, potential new indictments against Donald Trump are likely to reveal more detail than is expected.
Psaki discussed the prospect of new revelations emerging during an appearance on the network’s “Joe Scarborough Presents.”
“The legal process – and we'll see what happens in the Georgia case and we'll see of course, what Jack Smith has on January 6 – has been working as it should, meaning, yes, there's been excellent reporting, but most of it is not leaking out of these prosecutors’ offices, so if they move forward, we learn a great deal more than we do before,” Psaki said.
“And I had interviewed (Rep.) Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) last week, and he said, ‘I'm interested in hearing what Jack Smith has about these high level conversations because we didn't have time to get to that level of detail,’ and they did a lot in the January 6 committee,” Psaki said.
“So my point is indictments, if they're coming are going to have a lot more detail. They're gonna give us a lot more information in all likelihood, if past precedent of the last two are examples.”
