Suspect tased after threatening Campbell police with beer can
July 10
Overnight in the 600 block of East Campbell Avenue: Someone used asphalt and insulating foam to damage a retaining wall.
2:45 p.m. in the 2000 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A silver and gray scooter with a yellow “NC” sticker on it was stolen.
5:38 p.m. in the 3500 block of South Bascom Avenue: During an argument, a man, 42, shoved the victim multiple times and forced her out of their apartment.
10:50 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: Two tires were stolen from a 2023 Toyota GR86 sportscar.
2:10 a.m. in the 2000 block of South Bascom Avenue: Two suspects cut a lock at a closed business and stole copper wiring. They fled in a two-door Honda sedan.
July 11
7:08 a.m. in the 900 block of Apricot Avenue: A man, 36, hit a tree and tried to flee, but his car was disabled. He was found to be DUI.
Overnight in the 1600 block of South Winchester Boulevard: Someone cut the fence on the perimeter of a building in an attempt to gain entry.
5:57 p.m. in the 00 block of Civic Center Drive: Someone stole packages from in front of the victim’s front door.
6:55 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 39, refused to leave the property when told to. He also possessed methamphetamine and was found to be under the influence of a stimulant.
8:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of Villarita Drive: Someone set off fireworks, causing a fire. A tree and fence were damaged.
8:30 p.m. at Dell and Camden avenues: During a road rage incident, a man, 21, pushed the victim to the ground.
11 p.m. in the 300 block of Budd Avenue: Someone entered the victim’s apartment and stole electronics.
July 12
Overnight in the 1000 block of Shamrock Drive: Someone broke into the victim’s vehicle and stole items.
10:45 a.m. in the 600 block of East Campbell Avenue: A man, 50, wrote graffiti on the steps of the basketball court.
1:08 a.m. at Camden and Curtner avenues: A man, 25, is a convicted felon and was in possession of pepper spray.
3:19 a.m. in the 300 block of East Hamilton Avenue: A man, 41, was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The moniker “Morbid” was graffitied on the building/sidewalks. Colored markers were located in his backpack.
900 block of West Hamilton Avenue: During an argument, the suspect intentionally pushed a shopping cart into the victim’s vehicle, causing damage.
July 13
9:35 a.m. at Camden Avenue and Blossom Hill Road: An officer received an ALPR hit on a stolen vehicle and determined that the company reported the wrong truck stolen from their yard in San Jose. The vehicle was removed from the system.
800 block of Gale Drive: Someone gained access to the victim’s apartment and stole her checkbook. She recently has also been receiving harassment in the forms of letters being left on her vehicle and salt being poured on her doorstep.
12:08 p.m. in the 1200 block of Camden Avenue: Staff called to report the occupant of the room was asking for help and was then seen passed out on the floor of his room. He regained consciousness and then became extremely agitated. Multiple driver licenses, checks and signatures matching the driver’s licenses in a notebook were located in his room.
1 p.m. in the 400 block of East Campbell Avenue: Someone gained access to the victim’s vehicle via an unlocked door and stole cash that was in a bag.
1500 block of Redding Park Lane: Someone entered the victim’s garage while the door was open and stole two bikes.
7:02 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 32, was causing a disturbance in front of a business. When officers arrived, he was very confrontational and verbally aggressive and threatened officers. At one point he raised a beer can as if he was going to throw it at officers. The officers tased him and took him into custody. The suspect was transported and treated at the hospital then booked.
9:11 p.m. in the 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue: Three suspects stole merchandise from a store and fled in a vehicle. The plates come back lost or stolen.
11:14 p.m. in the 200 block of East Campbell Avenue: A transient man, 50, was refusing to leave a business. After officers arrived, he continued to refuse to leave. The victim wanted prosecution.
July 14
Midnight in the 500 block of Salmar Avenue: The rear license plate was stolen from the victim’s vehicle.
Overnight in the 00 block of West Campbell Avenue: The suspect took the victim’s vehicle without his consent. The suspect told the victim she was in Arizona last time they spoke.
Noon in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: A woman’s wallet was stolen from her purse while she was shopping. Her credit cards in were used shortly after the theft.
1:45 p.m. in the 900 block of Gale Drive: A woman, 32, and a man, 28, were contacted during the service of a search warrant at a residence. The woman had an outstanding warrant for her arrest and was in possession of drug paraphernalia and narcotics for sales. The man was in possession of drug paraphernalia, a switchblade knife and burglary tools.
1:38 a.m. in the 200 block of Echo Avenue: A man threw a woman onto the bed and put a blanket over her face. The woman attempted to escape, but the man restrained her. The woman had injuries on her forehead, arms and legs. The man grabbed the woman’s iWatch from her wrist and broke it. He fled in his vehicle.
1:54 a.m. at South Winchester Boulevard and East Sunnyoaks Avenue: A man, 40, was found passed out in his vehicle in the middle of the roadway. He had objective symptoms of alcohol intoxication and failed to perform field sobriety tests as demonstrated.
9:20 p.m. in the 400 block of West Hacienda Avenue: A man went to a residence to retrieve a bicycle that the victim gave him by picking the lock to the garage without permission. The victim is requesting he be prosecuted for burglary and theft of the bicycle.
2100 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man showed up to the victim’s place of work and forced his way into the business while she was at the door. He shoved her onto the ground and made his way into the business to search for other males. The victim sustained bruises on both her arms and on her shoulder.
July 15
500 block of Railway Avenue: The victim received mail notifying her that someone applied for a job using her information. This is the third time this has happened since 2022.
12:33 p.m. at Midway Avenue and Fewtrell Drive: A driver was seen doing donuts in the intersection. The vehicle became disabled, and the suspect fled on foot. The vehicle was unreported stolen.
5:16 p.m. in the 400 block of East Campbell Avenue: A man left his black bicycle unlocked in front of a business, and it was stolen.
9:43 p.m. in the 600 block of East Hamilton Avenue: Officers contacted a man, 28, via text messages about an advertisement he placed on a website. The man was in possession of a loaded concealed firearm in his vehicle, five oxycodone pills for sales and drug paraphernalia.
9:30 p.m. at North First Street and Civic Center Drive: Someone forced entry into a vehicle and stole a backpack.
July 16
Overnight in the 300 block of Orchard City Drive: Someone broke the victim’s car windows.
2:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Apricot Avenue: A vehicle was stolen from a parking lot then recovered on Budd Avenue.
6:51 p.m. in the 1100 block of South San Tomas Aquino Road: On at least three occasions, someone has gone to the victim’s door, demanding he come outside. The suspect called the victim by name and threatened to kill him.
1:01 a.m. at Abbey Lane and Bucknall Road: An officer located a vehicle that was reported stolen out of San Jose on June 28.
