I can’t believe what I found buried in my garden – it just needed a good cleaning, I brought it back to life
A GARDENER has shared what he found buried in the soil after doing some maintenance.
He said his discovery was a little dirty but all it needed was a good cleaning.
Xander Bliss (@makingamemory) shared the discovery with his TikTok followers.
He explained that he was working on his latest gardening project when he stumbled across the find.
“Hey guys, today I am in the garden working on my pumpkin patch and I dug out all this s**t at the bottom of the garden, and guess what I found?” he said.
“This is all the s**t that I dug out,” he said, showing off the bags of weeds and clumps of dirt that he removed.
He panned his camera over a large pink carpet, fully intact and in perfectly preserved condition, covered in dirt.
“I’m just going to clean this off, see if we can save it,” he said.
The gardener started to power-wash the carpet with a hose, removing some of the dirt it had trapped.
The gardener even picked out garbage that clung to the fibers of the rug.
In another video, he revealed the final transformation of the carpet after the deep cleaning.
The rug, now a uniform light pink color, was free of all stains and debris.
The gardener explained that he found a new purpose for the rug in a show: “Cleaned up and ready to use on stage,” he said.
“Buried for decades and brought back to life,” he said, adding the hashtags #vintage and #amazingfind.
