CT postal carrier reportedly robbed at gunpoint during his route in Hamden
A USPS postal carrier was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in Hamden on Saturday afternoon, police said.
Officers responded to 245 Treadwell Street around 3:43 p.m. on Saturday for a report of a street robbery with a firearm, according to the Hamden Police Department.
The victim, a USPS postal carrier, told officers that he was delivering mail on his route on Treadwell Street when a Black Jeep SUV with heavily tinted windows parked behind his postal truck.
