I’m pregnant and transformed a cluttered office into the nursery I always dreamed of – it’s my new favorite room
A PREGNANT woman channeled her excitement into building her dream nursery out of a drab office.
The most impressive part is that she did it all only a month before her due date.
When home styling expert and DIY lover Katelyn Fazzo (@makeityourhome) realized she was only a few weeks away from welcoming her child, she knew it was time to get to work on the nursery.
In a TikTok video, she revealed how she transformed a dark office into a bright baby room just in the nick of time.
“POV: you are eight months pregnant and have exactly one month to turn this room into the nursery you’ve always dreamed of,” she began.
Not only was the space not the most aesthetically pleasing – with its black patterned wall, masculine wall art, office chairs, and leather couch – it was also cluttered with junk.
There were hundreds of folders and papers strewn across the floor, with old water jugs, and sports equipment lying around.
After clearing it all out, Katelyn got to work priming over the dark walls.
“I found the most beautiful blue grey color,” she said, beginning to paint.
She then gave the walls an extra flare.
“Adding trim to the wall because what newborn doesn’t love box trim,” she said, installing panels and crown molding.
The ceiling, perhaps, was the most interesting part of the room, as she added a wallpaper with small birds painted across it.
“And now, the finishing touches,” she said, hanging straw baskets filled with stuffed animals, wooden shelves holding books and decor, and thick curtains on a brass pole to match the crib.
The final product was straight out of a magazine, with an airy gray rug to tie it all together.
“This might be my new favorite room in the house,” she gushed in the caption.
Viewers, too, were impressed with her talent.
“Are you kidding me?!?! This has to be my favorite nursery of all time,” one person praised.
“The birds on the ceiling! This is so cute,” echoed another.
