A young man hurled a country-made bomb at his own house in Chennai's Perumbakkam area after his father refused to provide him with money. The explosion resulted in minor injuries to his uncle and sister. The man had reportedly demanded Rs 3 lakh from the proceeds of a land sale, but was declined by his father.
