Tata Group is to invest over £4bn in setting up a new electric vehicle battery plant in the UK, creating thousands of jobs across the supply chain. The new gigafactory will be anchored by Tata-owned Jaguar Land Rover, with an initial output of 40GWh, making it one of Europe's largest.
