Fiji, World Bank sign 200-mln-USD agreement for tourism program

SUVA, July 19 (Xinhua) -- Fiji on Wednesday signed a 200-million-U.S. dollar agreement with the World Bank to develop the tourism potential of Vanua Levu, Fiji's second-largest island.

The deal was signed by Fijian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Biman Prasad and World Bank Regional Vice President for East Asia and Pacific Manuela Ferro, according to the Fijian government.
