At least 80 percent of the working-age population of Guinea-Bissau depends directly or indirectly on the cashew nut industry to earn a living. But as this year's harvest season is drawing to a close, the sector is in crisis. Farmers and exporters disagree on what constitutes a fair price and many are struggling to make ends meet.
