Dunelm shoppers rush to buy ‘beautiful’ homeware essential scanning at £13 instead of £129
DUNELM shoppers have been rushing to buy “beautiful” home furniture scanning at tills for just £13.
The homeware retailer is selling a stylish sherpa chair for a whopping £116 less than its original price.
An eagle-eyed shopper spotted the chair at her local store reduced initially to £60 – upon returning later on she found it was priced at just £12.90.
She shared the find on social media and fellow bargain hunters couldn’t believe the discount.
The shopper wrote: “Got this chair in Dunelm for £12.90!!!
“I saw it reduced from £129 to £65 but thought it was too small (was all boxed up).
“Saw the exact same chair in HomeSense for £149 and realised it was the perfect size. Went back to Dunelm and it was reduced to £12.90!!!!!!”
Her post was met with more than 1,000 likes and 100 comments from eager shoppers.
One wrote: “What a bargain!!!”
Another said: “It’s really beautiful.”
A third commented: “That’s an awesome chair and a nice bargain x”
And a fourth wrote: “Omg! I’d never be that lucky.”
The chair is only available for this price in store, as it is still listed at full price online.
Dunelm describes the item as “retro inspired design” with “stylish sherpa upholstery”.
It also has an angled backrest for comfort and support and a comfortable foam filling.
It measures at H75cm x W64cm x D72cm and weighs around 10.5kg.
Do bear in mind that when prices are reduced by this much it’s usually in order for stores to clear excess stock, so prices and stock will vary from store to store.
