As ethnic violence between Meiteis and Kukis rages on in Manipur, other communities living in villages across the state are also affected by the conflict. In Ward Number 9 of Kwatka Municipal Council, inhabitants face unannounced gunfire and a nonchalant attitude from local authorities, whilst the Gurkha community near Kangpokpi and Imphal West is similarly affected.
