Watch as female motorcyclist is sent flying through the air in shocking car crash at junction
THIS is the moment a female motorcylist was sent flying through the air in a shocking car crash at a junction.
Elisa Devlin, from London, was bed-bound in hospital for five days after the head-on collision.
The yoga teacher suffered a fractured pelvis and bruising all over her body – and needed MRI and CAT scans for head injuries.
She took to TikTok with CCTV of the crash at a central London junction.
A black estate car can been seen heading at speed into the junction – with Elisa approaching from the opposite direction.
The motor collided head-on with Elisa, sending her flying off her bike across its bonnet.
She landed on her knee and hip, and lay on the ground in agony while her bike burst into flames.
Elisa said: “It was my right of way. Today marks 10 weeks since the impact.
“Looking back on this footage reminds me how quickly we can heal.”
Sharing snaps of her injuries, she added: “What hurt me was my independence snatched.
“I was unable to move my legs, learning to walk all over again, having a catheter inserted into my bladder as I couldn’t pee on my own, using wet wipes to stay clean.
“I am a ferociously independent person, it was a lesson in surrendering.”
It comes after an HGV lorry smashed into an Audi on a main road after the driver stopped suddenly “for no reason” – but people are divided over who is in the wrong.
