Woodside closes difficult quarter

Oil and gas major Woodside has reported a 5% decline in production during the second quarter ended June, compared with the first quarter, owing to planned turnaround and maintenance activities.


The Australian major delivered 44.5-million barrels of oil equivalent during the quarter, with sales volumes reaching 48.4-million barrels of oil equivalent, a 4% decline on the first quarter due to the lower production.
