WhatsApp down updates — Thousands of users report issues with loading app and messages not sending

OVER 200,000 WhatsApp users worldwide are reporting issues with the app.

The majority of issues being reported are coming from texters encountering problems sending messages in the app.

Over 29,000 reports are circulating Downdetector in the US, and over 177,000 users have reported issues in the UK.

In a statement, WhatsApp said: “we’re working quickly to resolve connectivity issues with WhatsApp and we’ll update you here as soon as possible.”
