Former Indian MP Vijay Darda, former Coal Secretary HC Gupta, and senior public servants KS Kropha and KC Samria have been handed prison sentences for criminal conspiracy and cheating offences over irregularities in the allocation of coal blocks in Chhattisgarh. Ex-Coal Secretary Gupta was sentenced to three years in prison, whilst the others received sentences of four years.
