Savvy mums already stocking up on back-to-school essentials rave about the best backpack that’s just £3.75 in Tesco
THE kids have only just broken up for summer.
But savvy mums are already thinking about them going back to school, and have started stocking up on essentials to prep their little ones for the year ahead.
And while it can be expensive to kit kids out for a whole new school year, it doesn’t have to be, as one mum proved by sharing her bargain £3.75 Tesco buy.
Lorna took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to post a picture of the black backpack she’d picked up.
“Anyone looking for a cheap but decent rucksack for the kids going back to school,” she wrote alongside the snap.
“Tesco £5 or £3.75 with Clubcard.”
Other parents were equally impressed with the cut-price rucksack, as one wrote: “Good bargain, get a cheap transfer to iron on will look great.”
“I was going to post this bargain,” another commented.
And it’s not just taking the bag to school they’re thinking about, as some parents admitted they’d pop along to Tesco to see if they could get one for their upcoming holidays.
While someone else revealed the bag is also available in grey.
But if you can’t make it to Tesco to grab one of the bags, there are similarly-priced bargains elsewhere.
“Decathlon do an excellent cheap range,” one person commented on the post.
As another added: “Matalan do a similar one which is great!”
