I was on Love Island this year but I’m already back at university after being dumped from the villa
A LOVE Island star who was on the current series went back to university after being dumped from the villa.
Andre Furtado was one of this year’s original Islanders but left the Love Island villa on day 12.
But, rather than chasing his five minutes of fame, the 21-year-old went back to university and got his degree.
Sharing a snap of him in his cap and gown, Andre wrote: “Business Economics – BA (Hons).
“Your boy done it, university was a journey that tested me – various times in various manners. But we here, highly blessed – GOD DID.”
Andre’s fellow former Islanders sent their congratulations, with George Fensom writing: “My bro man graduated and love island in the same year you know..”
Mehdi Edno added: “YESSSSS my brother.”
And Dami Hope, who starred in the 2022 series, wrote: “Blessings keep on rolling in.”
During his time in the villa Andre first coupled up with Catherine Agbaje.
He later recoupled with Ruchee Gurung but left the villa alongside Charlotte Sumner.
Last month Charlotte and Andre sparked romance rumours as they enjoyed a cosy night out just days after being given the boot.
