WCSO: Deputy injured after shooting in Tualatin

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – One deputy has been hospitalized after an officer-involved shooting in Tualatin Wednesday morning, according to authorities.

Washington County Sheriff’s office said the shooting happened near Southwest Nyberg Street and Southwest Nyberg Lane.

Officials said the suspect is not in custody and asks residents to avoid the area.

It is not clear what led to the shooting.
