Hemsley 54 Stableford Open Day 1 Results
Day 1 in the bag with some glorious weather to compliment some great scores with 73 players teeing it up. Ross Coull as ever produced a very solid 1 under par 70 to lead Sean Logue by 2 in the scratch section after Sean managed to recover from a rocky start to shoot a 1 over par 72. The field is well bunched up behind with a further 8 players within 3 shots of Sean in second place. Steve Smith produced a fantastic round of golf to sit at the top of the nett leaderboard with a stableford score of 39 points followed very closely by Ken Dickson with a great score of 38 points. The field in the stableford competition is very tightly bunched with 16 players separated by only 4 shots and with the weather closing in tomorrow it will be a war of attrition for the players on Day 2 moving day.
