A meeting of the Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT) will be held in mid-August in Brisbane to determine the deployment of the 6 GHz spectrum band for 5G services in India. The APT aims to unite all Region 3 nations in a push towards allocating the 6 GHz spectrum band for cost-effective rollout of 5G services ahead of the final decision at the World Radio Communications-2023 conference in Dubai in December.
