I found the laziest gardening tool of all time – it makes weeding so much easier, I’m officially addicted
A TOP gardening pro has shared the amazing tool that made his yard work easier.
He said he was “officially addicted” after showing his supporters how it functions.
“I think I found the laziest gardening tool of all time,” said a TikToker who goes by Epic Gardening (@epicgardening) in a recent video.
He revealed it to be an automatic weed puller.
Though he didn’t share the exact model he bought, Amazon sells several options.
There is the $26.99 version from Walensee, the $39.99 one from Grampa’s Weeder, and the $47.53 kind from Fiskars.
Epic Gardening started off by locating a weed. Once he had a “target acquired,” the plant expert broke ground.
He said: “You put it right over the center and step on it. Then you just pull the stick back.”
The claws of the weed puller engulfed the weed as it was pressed into the ground and grabbed onto the roots.
The green thumb then removed the tool from the ground, showing the roots that had been extracted along with it, minus any heavy lifting.
He added: “Here’s where it gets super lazy. To get rid of it, just kick it out.”
The gardening pro repeated his demonstration on Bermuda grass, which is known for being invasive and tough to remove.
“I’m officially addicted,” he said after another successful test.
Commenters were equally impressed with the automatic weed puller, though many weren’t as quick to call it “lazy.”
One person wrote: “I have chronic back pain and had to give up on gardening because of it. Tools like these allow me to keep going.”
Another person added: “Not lazy. For me as a disabled man it would enable me to participate in yard work.”
A third injured viewer agreed: “My back will love this. I have three herniations, and a broken spinous process at C7. This is a game changer!!”
Others were already familiar with the product, and shared how much it helped in their own yards.
“I have thistles in my yard, and these are amazing for pulling them out!” said one satisfied gardener.
“My favorite tool. I go ham with this thing when the dandelions come out,” wrote another person.
