I tried loads of expensive mascaras then ranked them worst to best – there’s a £6 winner you need to race and nab
WHEN it comes to mascaras, there are options for all budgets on the market.
But how do you know whether it’s worth shelling out £30 on one, or if a cheap as chips option will do the trick?
Well, one woman has tested out a load of different mascaras, and claims that a £6 Rimmel buy is the best you can get.
“Your best budget beauty products?” Adisa wrote in a post on Facebook.
“I have tried £30 mascaras but this is THE BEST at around £6.
“Nothing beats it for long lashes that don’t smudge!”
The mascara she was referring to is Rimmel’s Extra 3D Lash Volumising, Defining & Lengthening Mascara, which is currently just £3.99 on Amazon.
And she wasn’t the only one to gush about the budget buy.
“Swear by this,” one person wrote in the comments section.
As another added: “Yep, I use this!! It’s amazing.”
“I got mine off Amazon and it was off for under £3 best mascara I’ve used,” a third commented.
“My fave always use this one n get it for under a fiver in asda,” someone else said.
“Love that mascara a little while ago I found it on amazon for under 4 quid , which is why I tried it , so glad I did,” another added.
“I use that too, hate the thick brushes other mascaras have,” someone else said.
“Me toooooo – just all clumps together!” Adisa replied.
And others shared their own suggestions for a budget-friendly mascara that lasts the day.
“Primark Wonderlash Mascara is fabulous, and comes off really easily too!” one wrote.
“I’ve tried every expensive mascara but this is the best by a long shot, and at £3.50 I love it!”
“MUA eye define from Superdrug is really good,” another said.
As a third commented: “There’s a banging Asda own brand mascara for about £4.
“I’d lost hope of finding a good mascara, after spending too much money on loads of diff ones, when I thought f**k it I’ll try this Asda one I’ve just passed on the aisle.”
