The first-ever Formula E race in India, the Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix, had an economic impact of nearly $84m, according to a study by Nielsen Sports Analysis. The race on 11 February generated almost $84m for Hyderabad's economy and drew 31,000 spectators, of whom 59% came from outside Hyderabad and contributed to the local economy.
