The Orioles Bludgeon The Blue Jays
It would appear that the success Baltimore’s Royal Canadian “Mounty” enjoys against the Toronto Blue Jays, particularly in Toronto, is beginning to rub off on other players. As Tuesday’s 13-3 score illustrates, the Orioles’ bats had their way with the Blue Jays.
Ryan Mountcastle, owner of a .281/ .333/ .646/ .979 career slash line against the Blue Jays, went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, 3 runs scored, 2 RBI and a walk; his teammates were watching and learning.

In the eighth inning, Anthony Santander (3 for 4, 1 HR, 1 R, 4 RBI, 1 BB) blasted a grand-slam tater the went 403 ft. and hit off the facade of the 200 level in right field at the Rogers Centre.

Adley Rutschman went 2 for 4 with a double, 2 runs scored, 1 RBI and a walk.
Jordan Westburg went 2 for 5 with a run scored.
Once again, the Orioles scored early, much to the benefit of starter Kyle Bradish (7-6). His quality start was blemished by two home runs allowed but despite that Bradish allowed 3 runs on 4 hits, walked 1, struck out 7 and threw a wild pitch over 7.0 innings.
Kyle Bradish surrendered three earned runs in the first three innings, but turned in a gem the rest of the way.
