We get parent-shamed for taking our baby to a terrifying horror night – they say we’ve ‘damaged’ her
A WOMAN has revealed that she and her man have been parent-shamed for taking their baby to a terrifying horror night.
Alejandra explained that she took her daughter to Universal Studios in California, for a spooky night with terrifying haunted houses, sinister scare zones and outrageous live entertainment.
Sharing clips of the experience online, the young mother posted a video showing her daughter at the event.
In one clip, which has quickly gone viral and has racked up a staggering four million views in just one day, we saw Alejandra’s daughter being approached by live actors.
As the baby sat in her pram, a woman in a freaky costume approached her and gave her a spooky wave.
Seconds later, we saw actors in terrifying masks get up close and personal to the baby, as one even pretended to steal her dummy.
But while many were left spooked at the clip, the mother explained that her daughter enjoyed herself, as she claimed: “La Llorona was her favourite.”
La Llorona, also known as ‘the weeping woman’ is a Mexican vengeful ghost, who is said to roam near bodies of water, mourning her children that she herself drowned.
In another video, we saw Alejandra’s partner holding their young child as the masked actors tried to scare her.
The clip was shared in response to a comment that read: “Now why the f**k would you wanna damage your baby like that.”
But Alejandra clapped back at the remark and shared clips of her baby smiling throughout the event.
She also claimed: “She was so happy.”
Alejandra’s clip, which was shared on TikTok under the username @alejandra57289, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 675,900 likes, 4,235 comments and 21,600 shares in just 24 hours.
But social media users were left divided at the clip – while some were stunned that Alejandra would take such a young baby to such an event, others didn’t see a problem.
One user shared: “Someone call cps now!”
Another claimed: “The therapy’s gonna be crazy.”
Whilst someone else questioned: “WHO TAKES A BABY !!!!!”
However, at the same time, one person said: “Ok so at first I was thinking “DUDE WHY”. But it seems like you took her at an age where she’s not entirely aware enough to be afraid yet lol.”
Whilst another added: “That baby is braver than me.”
A third commented: “Idk why people are hating when the child is visibly happy. My daughter would love this.”
