Twins place RHP Joe Ryan on IL, call up LHP Dallas Keuchel

The Minnesota Twins placed right-hander Joe Ryan on the 15-day injured list Thursday with a left groin strain and recalled left-hander Dallas Keuchel from Triple-A St. Paul.

Ryan, 27, gave up seven runs on nine hits over four innings Wednesday to the St. Louis Cardinals. The outing included four home runs allowed by Ryan.

Ryan is 9-8 with a 4.43 ERA in 22 starts this seas
