Fatal motorcycle crash stalls traffic on SE Stark Street
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Portland police say traffic is closed on Southeast 167th Avenue and Southeast Stark Street as they investigate a fatal motorcycle crash with an SUV Thursday afternoon.
Just after 3 p.m., a spokesperson with the Portland Police Bureau said westbound traffic in the area of 16700 SE Stark St. would be closed until approximately 5:30 p.m.
The identity of the motorcyclist that died has yet to be released, but police confirmed he was a 33 years old and succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. Investigators say the driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.
