After talk of moving, US Space Command to remain in Colorado

WASHINGTON D.C.: The Pentagon said that US President Joe Biden decided to keep Colorado Springs as the permanent location of the US Space Command headquarters.

The decision ends a long-running debate over potentially moving the facility to Alabama, which is a Republican stronghold.

The decision by Democrat Biden would ensure "peak readiness" of the command during a critical period, the Pentagon added.
