Round 3 report
Apologies for delay in report and 4th round draw, but I am just back from holiday!
Round 3 saw a good draw by Norman Waugh (1160) against Gordon Thomas (1312)! Josh Dickson J12 (880) is improving fast as another win for him in round three against new member Chris Moore (UG)!
Graham Mooney (1866), got back to winning ways, with a win against young Noah Dickson J10 (666). Congratulations go to Trevor Harley (1333) for a great win against Ray Noble (1531). Trevor thinks this is the first time he has beaten Ray in a competitive match, so well done sir!
With the top board clash not taking place, the whole competition is wide open with the likely hood of a three-way tie for first place! Six players are on 6 points and are paired against one another in the last round!
Round four deadline is Sunday 27th August 2023
