A security force personnel was killed in exchange of fire in Koutruk, Haraothel and Senjam Chirang areas of Manipur. A local group had called for bandh demanding a special session of the state assembly. The police stated on Thursday an exchange of fire between armed miscreants occurred at Koutruk, Haraothel and Senjam Chirang areas in which two persons including one security personnel sustained bullet injuries. Security Forces retaliated the firing and repelled the miscreants.
