Eight-Round 2024 DTM Calendar Released
The 2024 DTM calendar has been revealed today by the ADAC. Next year’s schedule features eight race weekends between April and October, with the teams set to visit Germany, Austria and the Netherlands once again.
The opening race of the season will be at Oschersleben on April 26th to 28th. From there, the teams head to the DEKRA Lausitzring (24th to 26th May), before venturing outside of Germany for the first time to race at Circuit Park Zandvoort (7th to 9th June) on the North Sea coast of the Netherlands.
The DTM drivers then go head to head on the streets of Nuremberg at the Norisring from 5th to 7th July. After that they’ll race at the Nüburgring for a meeting from the 2nd to 4th of August.
September sees the teams compete at two circuits, the first being the Sachsenring from 6th to 9th, the second a visit to Austria for an encounter at the picturesque Red Bull Ring (27th to 29th September) circuit in Spielberg.
The weekend at Spielberg serves as the penultimate round of the season before the traditional season finale at Hockenheim from October 18th to 20th.
“It is important for the participants to be able to plan with certainty in good time. By confirming the calendar so early, we have allowed them to do so,” said ADAC motorsport director Thomas Voss.
“The concept of the DTM, under the umbrella of the ADAC, has been well received by the fans so far this year. We will be building on that success in 2024. We are also currently looking into the option of adding another European event outside of Germany to the 2024 calendar.”
