A TIKTOKER has revealed how she eats healthy while on the go by fine-tuning her fast food order.
She revealed that after losing 30 pounds, she’s still shedding weight while eating Chik-fil-A.
Jessica Barstow (@__jbarsty) filmed herself in the kitchen in a video on TikTok.
“I am down over 30 pounds this year and this was my go-to Chick-fil-A order.
“If I could say the number one mistake I made when starting my weight loss was not eating enough protein. I started upping my protein and it was a total game changer.
“So if you are on a weight loss journey and you have cut your calories down, you need at least 100 grams of protein,” she said.
She said she learned of the fast food hack on TikTok and decided to try it, leading to losing weight while eating the meal.
“I am consistently right now, losing about two pounds a week. A 12-count grilled nugget from Chick-fil-A has 200 calories and 38 grams of protein.
“That’s freaking insane.
“So grab that and you can also just ask them for a side of pickles. And I just dumped the whole thing in there. Then pick your sauce of choice,” she said.
She mixed the chicken, pickles, and sauce in the container and shook it up to evenly coat everything.
“It smells so good,” she raved.
She encouraged viewers on TikTok to give the meal a try in order to reach protein goals.
“You guys, you won’t be disappointed,” she said.
The video drew in many viewers who shared their thoughts in the comment section.
