Around 150 migrant families saw their shanties razed on Thursday as the government sent bulldozers to a slum cluster in Tauru, with officials claiming some of its residents were found to be involved in rioting in the communal clashes of July 31. Bulldozers also tore down five houses near a temple in Nalhar on Friday afternoon, located in the area that was the epicentre of the July 31 clash during a religious procession.
