Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram criticized the Indian government's assertion that abrogating Article 370 brought peace to Jammu and Kashmir. He claimed that freedom is most severely suppressed in J&K and that the government has put Mehbooba Mufti under house arrest and sealed the offices of the PDP and National Conference.
