The Delhi government has announced that income and asset certificates will now only be issued online for people from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). EWS applicants require these certificates to gain admission to educational institutions and apply for jobs. The new online mode eliminates the need for them to visit the subdivisional magistrate's office to collect the certificates.
