3 men dead, another injured in Hartford overnight shootings
Three people are dead and at least one more person is injured after two overnight shootings in Hartford Sunday morning, police said.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter notification in the 600 block of Wethersfield Avenue about 12:26 a.m. and found 24-year-old Jordan Phipps suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Hartford Police Department.
Phipps, of Bloomfield, was pronounced dead at the scene.
While investigating, another victim arrived at Hartford Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds that weren’t life threatening, police said. That man was expected to survive.
A little over an hour later, police responded to another ShotSpotter notification at 1:52 a.m. and found two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
One of the men was unresponsive on the scene and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The other was taken to St. Francis Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The men were identified as William Tisdol, 23, and Hakeem Dickson, 27, both of Hartford.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and were investigating the incidents.
