Two dead in east Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Two people are dead after a shooting Sunday afternoon in east Columbus.

According to a police dispatcher, officers were called to the 1400 block of East Mound Street at 12:35 p.m. after reports of a shooting. A man was found with a gunshot wound and was taken to Grant Medical Center in "life-threatening" condition.

A second victim walked in to OSU East Hospital in critical condition with a police dispatcher confirmed both victims were pronounced dead after 1 p.m.
