In a case of "honour" killing, a woman was shot to death by her brother after she eloped with and married her lover, who was also a worker hired by her family. Reportedly furious with his sister, the accused, son of a realtor and financer, fired at least 20 shots at the newlyweds in Panchsheel colony on Saturday night. The woman suffered multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot while the man is undergoing treatment in hospital. He is stated to be out of danger.
