An associate of the deceased gangster-politician Atiq Ahmad has been arrested in Rajasthan's Ajmer by the Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh Police in connection with an extortion case. The arrested man, named Mohammed Javed or Pappu Ganjia, has been accused in over 40 criminal cases, including those related to murder, extortion, and robbery.
