Adani Energy Solutions (AESL) has secured financial closure for its $1bn green high voltage direct current (HVDC) link project in Mumbai. The transmission and distribution business said the HVDC link will bulk inject an extra 1,000 MW of renewable power into the city as well as enhancing grid stability, thus ensuring an uninterrupted power supply.
