Celebrity MasterChef judge Gregg Wallace accused Wynne Evans of cheating during tonight’s show.

The Go Compare singer revealed he planned to present a ‘make your own’ crumble – leaving Gregg and John Torode baffled.

Wynne explained: “I like a lot of crumble so I am doing a cocktail where you can make it yourself with the exact quantities that you want.”

Greg turned to John and teased: “Does that sound like he’s cheating to you?”

John replied: “It sounds like if we don’t like it, it will be our fault.”

Wynne laughed and told them: “Yeah it’s exactly your fault, you haven’t got the ratio right.”

In the end Wynne ended up being the chef of the evening, while Cheryl Hole got sent home.

Opera singer Wynne is best known for his Go Compare alter-ego Gio Compario.

The professional performer, from Carmarthen, Wales, puts his wonderful windpipes to use in commercials for the price comparison website.

Earlier this year he revealed his incredible weight loss, saying: “I’ve lost five and a bit stone and I feel great actually. It’s been calories. I’ve tried every diet in the world as I’ve always been fat.

“I wanted to do something as I was having trouble washing and getting up to the top of the stairs. My mental health hadn’t been great either over the last six years. I was on tablets for it.”
