Economists have been painting Britain to be in the grip of terminal economic decline and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Chancellor Jeremy Hunt have been painted as the artists of economic failure. But, their cautious strategy is reaping dividends as Britain has been showing great resilience, writes Leo McKinstry.
