Coleen Rooney looks incredible on Vogue cover ahead of bombshell Wagatha Christie documentary
COLEEN Rooney has posed on the cover of Vogue ahead of her new Disney+ Wagatha Christie documentary and declared: “What I said in that post, I still stick by today.”
The WAG, 37, said: “I felt like everyone else has spoken about it except me. And it’s my story to tell.”
She adds that she can never forgive or forget what Rebekah did.
The programmes, which are expected to air this year, will be the first time viewers have heard directly from Coleen and her football manager husband Wayne about the scandal which rocked their lives.
In October 2019 Coleen first accused Becky of leaking stories to the press about her. She went on to win a High Court legal battle with Becky last summer after the latter accused Coleen of libel.
Coleen told Vogue‘s September digital issue: “I feel like a lot of people still don’t understand what happened, from beginning to end.
On writing the now infamous tweet, she said: “I like a pen and paper – a pencil and a rubber, actually, so I can rub it out. So I started writing what I wanted to say and then the next morning I put it out there. That was the start of something that I would never have expected.
“All these messages of support coming in,” she says. “Then I thought, ‘Oh, my God, this has gone extreme.’”

The war of the WAGs first began when Coleen sensationally turned detective to uncover a friend who was telling tales to the media.
She spoke out about her experiences in October 2019, ending the tweet with the jaw-dropping line: ‘It’s… Rebekah Vardy’s account’.
Rebekah sued the newly dubbed ‘Wagatha Christie’ for libel, denying she was the media source. But in July last year she lost the case when Coleen’s post was found to be ‘substantially true’ by a judge.
Rebekah had claimed the Instagram post had cost her a book deal and an endorsement for placenta capsules, while also acting as a lightning rod for people to abuse her on social media.
Coleen’s barrister questioned her integrity as a witness, bringing up a News Of The World story in which she said singer Peter Andre had the ‘smallest trouser equipment I’ve ever seen’.
The mother-of-five spent two days on the witness stand being grilled by Coleen’s legal team, breaking down in tears on several occasions.
The legal fight is already the subject of a stage show and a Channel 4 drama, whilst Rebekah also conducted a tell-all interview with Talk TV.
Rebekah previously told The Sun that the case left her with nightmares and symptoms of PTSD and that she ‘felt physically sick’ when she spoke about the trial.
