Love Island star reveals ‘normal job’ six months after appearing on winter series
LOVE Island star Keanan Brand has revealed his ‘normal job’ six months after appearing on the winter series.
The 24-year-old shot to fame on the ITV2 show earlier this year.
Keanan is a professional rugby league star who plays for Barrow Raiders, as well as Leigh Leopards.
Although he spends most of his time on the pitch, he’s recently swapped his boots for some clippers.
Keanan revealed that he’s training to become a barber.
The reality star looked a professional in a reposted Instagram video of him working his magic on a mannequin’s head.
His teacher, Sean The Barber, wrote: “Smashing it with the training,” and a fire emoji.
Keanan entered the villa on day 39 as a bombshell and decided to take Samie Elishi and Jessie Wynter on a date.
However the girls were only interested in their men – so he coupled up with Claudia Fogharty.
Five days later the pair landed themselves in the bottom four couples with the least votes, and Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda sent them packing.
Months after their stint on the show, it was revealed that Keanan and co-star Rosie Seabrook had started dating.
The pair, who initially grew close when they entered the villa together as bombshells, were spotted enjoying a cosy dinner date in April.
It came after Rosie was cruelly ghosted by former lover Casey O’Gorman shortly after the series ended.
An insider said: “Rosie and Keanan get on so well and are looking forward to exploring their feelings further.
“They finally went on a proper date and had a great time. The sparks were flying and they have already arranged to see each other again.”
But in recent months nothing has been said about their romance.
