CORONATION Street’s Lauren Bolton revealed her harrowing past in an emotional confession.
The troubled youngster, who is played by Cait Fitton, has told her backstory in upsetting scenes.
Viewers of the long-running ITV soap recently saw her get a job working at Roy’s Rolls.
Grateful for Roy Copper’s kindness, Lauren misread signals and made a pass at him.
He swiftly rejected the advanced and Lauren ran off in embarrassment.
She left Weatherfield residents worried when she disappeared and failed to show up for her shift.
Lauren eventually turned up at Shona and David’s house as she explained what happened with Roy.
She then confided in Max Turner about her past, revealing she has been taking advantage of by men in the past.
She told the teen: “When it comes to sex, I thought all blokes were the same.”
Lauren continued: “A bloke does something nice for me and I offer to repay the favour.
“I’ve done it before, you know. It’s a transaction.”
Despite initially announcing she was leaving the cobbles, Lauren ultimately decided to stay.
Wednesday’s episode saw her ask Roy if her job at the cafe was still available.
