Iran's top leader says IRGC world's biggest anti-terror organization

TEHRAN, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said on Thursday the country's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) is the world's biggest anti-terrorism organization.

The remarks, published on the leader's website, were made at a meeting with the IRGC commanders and officials in the Iranian capital Tehran.

He praised the military force for its achievements and significant role in ensurin
