Louise Thompson cruelly mum shamed over sweet video with baby Leo on holiday
FORMER Made In Chelsea star Louise Thompson has been cruelly mum shamed over a sweet video with baby Leo on holiday.
The reality star, 33, has been enjoying her summer abroad with fiance Ryan Libbey and their one-year-old son.
Louise Thompson took to Instagram to share an adorable clip of herself going on a bike ride with Leo.
The tot is perched in front of her, as she is seen cycling down an idyllic country lane.
Writing next to the sweet video, Louise said: “What are you grateful for today? Me: THIS.
“First time cycling with Leo and his face has me in stitches.
“I don’t know why but the spiky hair / Cheshire Cat grin combo is giving me major Sherman from American Pie vibes ”
But some of her 1.4M followers mum shamed Louise for not making her son wear a helmet.
One wrote: “t’s irrelevant that it’s a short ride. The child should be protected with a helmet. It only takes one second to fall off a bike and cause a head injury.”
Another said: “So unbelievably dangerous! As a paramedic it makes me very sad that as a “public” figure your are not wearing one and also allowing your child to not wear one.”
This following commented: “Omg! Leo is NOT properly strapped in either! Please be careful Louise.”
But Louise didn’t have to fire back as many of her followers fought her battle for her.
One wrote: “For goodness sake, give Louise a break. Leo is her child, she can do what she chooses – as she said she was on a road with no cars. If you can’t be kind, don’t say anything!”
Another commented: “Let’s hope all these comments don’t push you over the edge tonight, if you follow her you know her story, so quick to judge.”
Reality TV star Louise – famous for appearing on Made In Chelsea with her brother Sam – nearly died twice in childbirth in December 2021 .
