The Nation's Weather for Sunday, August 27, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A cold front will be the focus for thunderstorms tomorrow
from the Southern states through the Southeast coastline and
into portions of the mid-Atlantic. North of there, spotty
showers will track across the Northeast, especially near
coastal areas, with more expansive coverage through New
England. Behind the cold front, a drier, more comfortable
air mass will filter into the Midwest and the Great Lakes
regions, where generally quiet conditions are expected.
Morning showers in far southern Montana and northern Wyoming
will give way to more widespread monsoon thunderstorms for
the Intermountain West and mainly eastern portions of the
Four Corners region. Otherwise, residents along the West
coast can expect to experience mainly dry conditions.
